Cute Ways To Celebrate Cuddly Kitten Day

March 15, 2019

Did you know there’s a special holiday coming up? March 23rd National Cuddly Kitten Day! Kitties are cute—and cuddly—at any age, but they’re almost impossibly adorable when they’re young. Read on as a local Tipp City, OH vet offers some great suggestions on celebrating this cat-tastic day.

Spoil Your Kitten

No matter how old your feline pal is, she may very well be a kitten at heart. Treat Fluffy to a new toy, or get her a comfy piece of cat furniture. A yummy snack will get that motor going as well. This is also a great time to bring out your pet’s inner ‘child’ with a fun play session!

Share The Word

Want an instant mood booster? Spend a few minutes watching videos of playful kittens. A search of tiny kitten videos is bound to be adorable. You can also brighten someone else’s day by sending them photos of baby cats. Of course, if you know of a feline who needs a good home, spread the word about Fluffy. A few keystrokes could very well end up changing a kitty’s life!

Support Animal Charities

There are always far too many adorable baby cats out there who desperately need good homes. Consider donating money or goods to a local animal charity. If you have time, you can even consider volunteering or fostering. Every little bit helps!

Adopt A Furball

Are you considering bringing a new cat into your home? If so, this is a great time to do it! Of course, you don’t necessarily have to get a baby furball. Kitties make wonderful pets no matter what age they are.

Cuddle Your Kitten

If you have a baby feline on your hands, show her some extra TLC on this special day. Spend some time playing with little Fluffy, then let her snooze on your lap if she wants. Kittens like to feel safe and loved, so letting your tiny pet curl up in your arms will help her start thinking of you as her human ‘parent.’ Of course, there are some rules to cuddling kittens. Never force attention on a cat: when your furry pal decides she doesn’t want to be petted any more, just let her go.
