Cute Things Your Cat Will Do This Year

January 1, 2021

Happy New Year! As we leave 2020 behind and move on into 2021, many people are making resolutions. As you start making your list, your kitty will be right there with you, watching you with that cute adoring/smug/nosy look cats get. Fluffy also has a few things on her to-do list for the coming year. A Tipp City, OH vet lists some of the more adorable ones below.

C ommandeer A Box

At some point this year, you’ll bring home an empty box. Fluffy will immediately hop into it, looking very pleased with herself. Suitcases and paper bags are also fair game.

Pounce On Something That Isn’t A Toy

Kitties are very playful, which is one reason they’re so much fun. However, Fluffy doesn’t really know (or care) what is and isn’t safe for her to play with. She also sometimes chooses to play with things that aren’t toys, such as bottlecaps and Q-tips.

Find A New Fascination

It’s always cute seeing cats suddenly take interest in something random. This could be a reflected spot of light on the ceiling, a moth, or the squirrel across the street. It’s safe to say that you’re in for one of these moments this year.

Give You Cattitude

Cats may be small, but they have really big purrsonalities. Fluffy will at some point meow at you indignantly, perhaps when you tell her to get down from something. She may also snub you when you want to cuddle, and then demand attention when you’re busy.

Attack The Sheet Monster

We’re not sure why, but cats just can’t resist ‘helping’ their humans change the bedsheets. Fluffy may not be very helpful, but she is adorable to watch.

Follow You Around

Kitties are very attached to their humans. Fluffy may like to keep a very close eye on you as you go about your day. She may even try to follow you into the bathroom!

Make You Laugh

Our feline friends have a special knack for putting smiles on our faces, even on the worst days. Fluffy’s cute demeanor, silly quirks, and larger-than-life purrsonality are all precious gifts in our book. As they say, laughter is the best medicine. Kitties certainly provide lots of it!
