September is Pet Insurance Month! Pet insurance hasn’t been around as long as human insurance, but it works in similar ways, and provides many of the same benefits. In a nutshell, the concept is the same: customers pay a set monthly or annual fee, and in return are covered for certain costs. Some include preventative care; some don’t. One company may include options for medication, while another may exclude it.
