Boarding

Slide – BG

If you had a choice, chances are you’d bring your pet with you everywhere you go. Unfortunately, this isn’t always possible. Do you have a plan in place for the next time you have to leave town without your pet? Why not consider the services of someone your pet already knows and trusts? Why not bring them somewhere that they already feel comfortable, where they’ll be surrounded by caring, familiar faces?

Troy Animal Hospital offers full service boarding to our existing clients in our clean, spacious and comfortable kennel facility. Living quarters feature cozy bedding and your pet will be fed a nutritious diet each day (unless you prefer to bring your pet’s food from home). Dogs are walked regularly, and cats have the freedom to roam or lounge in our comfortable feline boarding area.

We recommend bringing along anything that you feel may help to make your pet’s stay more enjoyable. This includes special food, toys, blankets and any medication that your companion requires. We’re more than happy to accommodate any special requests you may have whenever possible. We want your loved one to feel as comfortable, safe and happy as possible while in our care.

All boarding guests must be up-to-date on their vaccinations. If your pet has received his or her vaccinations elsewhere, be sure to bring along a copy of the medical records. If you have more than one pet that will be boarding with us and they are best friends at home, we’d be happy to board them together here as well. If your pet needs veterinary care, such as a check-up, teeth cleaning, heartworm test, etc., we can also take care of that during their stay.

At Troy Animal Hospital, we want you to have a stress-free trip. Knowing that your pet is safe and being well cared for in your absence is an important part of that. Your pet will be pampered and treated to all the creature comforts of home while you’ll enjoy peace of mind. Give us a call today. We’d love to become your pet’s home away from home!
