Sandhya Arya, DVM

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I had my career picked out as a toddler when I first found out that being a "doggy doctor" was a possibility. I went to THE Ohio State University, where I majored in Neuroscience and English, and stayed at OSU for vet school. I graduated in May 2022 with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. At this point, I decided it was time to escape my 20 mile radius of lifelong comfort and join Colleyville Animal Clinic, 1100 miles from my hometown.

As a veterinarian, my passions lie within behavioral, exotic, emergency, and nutritional medicine. My happy place is where I can help clients understand and work through their pets' behaviors, further strengthening their bond as a team.

Outside of work, you'll find me reading, cooking, or making my way to a concert. My guilty pleasure is indulging in the cheesiest romantic comedy I can find. I enjoy the outdoors and frequently go on hikes and adventures with both my dog (Calliope, a heeler mix) and my cat (Scotch, a fluffy gentleman).
